Cook Islands travel has its distinct attractions - Rarotonga is a pleasant tropical land with lots of accommodation and restaurants and lovely sand beaches. Aitutaki Lagoon is more laid back - a true South Seas Isle with stunning small uninhabited islands within its lagoon that are ideal for day cruises. Atiu and the other eastern islands are less attcactive with rugged limestone coastlines and unusual inland caves, whilst the remote atolls of the Northern Cooks are so isolated that few people live there (except black peral farmers) and few people visit. Five days on Rarotonga and two days on Aitutaki is just enough time to see the varied attractions - the travel shows below will help you plan your holiday.
